About the Whittier Spooktacular 5K

The Whittier Spooktacular runs a USATF-certified course with chip timing, so splits and results are accurate. It leans hard into the spooky theme: costumes are part of the deal, with a contest for registered participants, and there is music along the route. The whole thing is centered on the Whittier Community Center.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the Community Center, the same venue where the race starts. Afterward, there is a pancake breakfast on site, free for registered runners and open to others for a small fee.
