About the LASAA Mug Run - Altadena Forever Run

The course heads into the foothill neighborhoods east of Lake Avenue, with views of the San Gabriel Mountains opening up along the way. On the longer route, the road swings back toward the Mariposa business district, then west through streets where houses are actively being rebuilt. A small park marks one of the final turns before the finish on Mariposa Street.

Packet pickup is in the Grocery Outlet parking lot on Lake Avenue, which also serves as the hub for the start area. Volunteers and residents line parts of the course, and the morning carries real weight: the race was organized specifically to honor those affected by the Eaton Fire, and the neighborhoods you run through tell that story plainly.
