About the West Seattle Monster Dash 2026
The course runs through Lincoln Park, a forested stretch along the water on the western edge of Seattle. Trail footing means roots and uneven ground, so this is not a road race in the woods. Costumes are encouraged, and the crowd around the start skews young. A kids' activity zone runs alongside the main race.
Packet pickup happens the week before at a running store on California Ave SW, with a second option at the park on race morning, right next to the start line.

The West Seattle Monster Dash 2026 has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
