About the West Hill's 5K of Wonder
The course runs through residential streets in the West Hill neighborhood before passing through a section of Glendale cemetery. The terrain is not flat; elevation changes show up throughout, so expect a few real climbs mixed in with the flatter stretches. It is a neighborhood race in the truest sense, put on by a volunteer-run local organization.
The West Hill Neighborhood Organization runs this event to support free programming for local residents, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the finish line.
