About the Welltown 5K Run & Walk: Carnival Edition
The course stretches end to end along Commercial Street, the main drag through town, and swings out along the full length of MacMillan Pier. Storefronts and harbor views line the route, and Carnival weekend means the crowd tends to be dressed accordingly. Costumes are encouraged, and the field reflects that.
Registration and bib pickup open race morning at the Harbor Hotel, where coffee is also available before the start. Parking at the hotel is limited, so the organizers suggest getting dropped off at the start and picked up at the finish, which sits on the opposite end of town.
