About the Provincetown 5K Pilgrim Trot
The course runs out and back along Commercial Street, which is Provincetown's main drag right along the water. You start at the Sandcastle Resort, head toward an art museum at the far end, then turn around and come back. Costumes are encouraged, so expect Pilgrim hats and the occasional dog in a turkey suit.
Registration and bib pickup both happen inside the Sandcastle Resort on race morning, and parking is available there as well. The resort serves as the day-of headquarters, so everything is in one place before you head out onto the course.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Provincetown 5K Pilgrim Trot has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
