About the Wellen Park Half Marathon & 5K

Both courses run through Downtown Wellen Park on fully paved roads. The terrain is flat throughout, which makes for consistent pacing whether you are pushing hard or just finding a rhythm. The half marathon route is USATF certified and has aid stations with water, sports drink, and energy gels spaced along the way. Dogs on short, fixed leashes and strollers are welcome on either course.

Packet pickup is held the two evenings before the race at Solis Hall, the same building where the race starts and finishes, with a race-morning option as well. Parking is spread across the downtown area, and volunteers with signs are stationed along the approach roads to direct you in. Post-race food and drinks are available at the finish.
