About the Warriors of Hope - Irene's 5K
The race is held at Meyer Park in Spring, a gathering centered on stomach cancer awareness in memory of Irene Aragon, who passed from gastric cancer. The course is a standard road distance through the park, suitable for runners and walkers alike. A kids' fun run runs alongside the main event, and a virtual option exists for those who cannot be there in person.
Packet pickup is offered the evening before the race at the park's north pavilion, with race-morning pickup at the south pavilion. Both are at the same address, so there is no separate trip to a running store or distant location.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Warriors of Hope - Irene's 5K has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
