About the WARRIOR RUSH 5K - 10K - Half Marathon 13.1
This is a winter-themed running event in Elk Grove Village, with several distance options so runners can pick what suits them. The event has a mythological namesake, a nod to Boreas, the god of the north wind, which fits the cold-weather timing. Chip timing with live results is in place, so splits and finish times post quickly.
After the race, a DJ keeps things going at the post-race party, and there are complimentary snacks and refreshments. Event photos are also on hand, so there is a way to mark the finish before heading home.
