About the 2026 Walk,Run,Read for Literacy!
The course starts in a city park and heads out along the Idaho Centennial Trail before turning back. It is flat road running beside the water, with a clear turnaround point and aid stations along the way. The race supports adult literacy programs in the area, and the whole proceeds go directly to that work.
The park hosts a book sale and family activities alongside the race, so there is reason to stay after you finish. A Kids Dash runs on a loop inside the park for younger children, separate from the main course.
