About the Waffle Run
The course runs along the Clovis Old Town Trail, starting at California Health Sciences University and heading north before looping back through a side spur and an alleyway to Sierra Avenue. The trail surface keeps things smooth underfoot, and the route is mostly flat with no real climbing to speak of. Both distance options follow the same basic shape, just turning around at different points.
Race-morning packet pickup happens at the start. After finishing, runners can head to any Huckleberry's location to use a breakfast coupon for a waffle combo. The coupon stays valid for a stretch after race day, so there is no pressure to go immediately.
