About the Vineyard at RiverWalk Wine Run 5k
The course starts at a winery vineyard, crosses a bridge, loops around a nearby resort, then comes back across the bridge and ends at a grand ballroom. The surroundings are mountain terrain, so there is scenery on all sides. It is a road course, paved underfoot, with no serious climbing described.
Packet pickup opens on race morning, about an hour before the start, so there is no need to come the day before. After finishing, the post-race wine pour is held inside the ballroom, and winery tours are available for those who want to stick around.
