About the Rescue Me 5K

The course starts and finishes at Basecamp Brewing, a natural gathering point that makes the post-race part easy. The route is flat, which suits anyone looking to run fast or just run comfortably through the area. The race benefits a volunteer wilderness search and rescue organization that covers the surrounding mountains and lakes region.

Bib pickup happens race morning at Burgeon Outdoors, and day-of registration is there as well. Parking is at a nearby grocery store. After the race, Basecamp Brewing hosts a post-race gathering with a raffle, and awards go to the top finishers in each gender.
