About the Veterans Day 5K Fun Run/Walk at Hampton Park
The course runs through Hampton Park, a green urban space in Charleston. Signs honoring veterans by name are placed along the route, and flags are gathered near the start area, so the surroundings have a memorial quality that sets this one apart from a typical weekend run.
The park itself is closed to vehicles on race morning, so plan to park on the surrounding streets and walk in. Packet pickup happens the day before at a location confirmed closer to race day, communicated by email to registered participants. There is no morning pickup.
