About the 2026 MADD 5K and Fun Run
The race runs through Hampton Park, gathering by the gazebo at the start. It is a competitive event with age group awards for the top finishers, so expect people racing it honestly. The course is set entirely within the park, which keeps things contained and easy to follow.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the park, not the evening before. After the run, families affected by drunk and drugged driving gather for a ceremony, and runners are welcome to stay and join the walk that follows as a cooldown.
