About the Veterans Day 5K and 1mile run
The course stays entirely on high school and middle school grounds, winding through ball fields, a track, and parking lots. It is a loop you run a couple of times, with the start and finish both inside the football stadium. The surface is paved and grass, and the whole thing is accessible on flat school grounds.
Packet pickup is race morning only, so plan accordingly. Registration closes shortly before the shorter distance goes off, with the 5K following not long after. Everything happens in one compact area, which makes it easy to watch other runners from the stadium before and after your own race.
