About the Vaquero Strong 5K
The course starts and finishes at the high school stadium, so there is a real track feel to the beginning and end. The route runs through the surrounding neighborhood streets. Coffee and food are available before and after, and the post-race area around the stadium stays active while age group awards are handed out.
Packet pickup and race-morning check-in both happen at the stadium. The start area is on campus, which means a central, contained spot for families to set up and wait. Proceeds go back to the school directly, funding student programs and campus wellness initiatives.
