About the 2nd Annual UYA 5k Run It Back
The race starts and finishes at a community center on the west side of Sanford. It is organized by the Unity Youth Association, and the proceeds go toward mentorship and youth programming. The course is open to runners, cyclists, and walkers, so the field tends to be a mix of paces and purposes.
Packet pickup happens at the same community center on the two evenings before race day. After the finish, there is a block party with food and live entertainment, and the top finishers in each gender are recognized with awards at that celebration.
