About the USA Beach Running Championships

The entire course runs on hard-packed sand at low tide along Cocoa Beach. Shoes are optional, and there is a barefoot division for each distance. The surface is firm enough that most runners find it closer to road running than what you might expect from sand, though the open beach exposure means wind can be a factor.

Packet pickup and walk-up registration happen the morning of the race. Afterward, the party stays on the beach, with live music, champagne, and mimosas right where you finished.
