About the Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5k

The course winds through the residential streets of Cocoa Isles, a quiet neighborhood of canals and homes a short walk from the beach. It is a road race with no real climbing to speak of, and the surroundings feel more like a neighborhood stroll than a typical race environment. A separate free fun run for young kids runs after the main event wraps up.

The Bailiwick Mall on Brevard Avenue serves as the hub for both the start and the finish. Packet pickup happens at the Cocoa Beach Recreation Center on several days beforehand, with a race-morning pickup window at the start area as a backup. Parking is spread around the neighborhood, with church lots a couple of blocks from the start and street parking on the side streets off Minutemen Causeway.
