About the United Health Centers Foundation Fun Run
The race is held at Woodward Park in Fresno, in an area of the park known for public art. The course offers several distance options, from a short kids' race up through a longer run, so groups with mixed abilities tend to show up together. The park setting keeps the terrain gentle and accessible to most paces.
The race benefits a community health organization, funding medical, dental, vision, and specialty care, as well as training for primary care clinicians. That mission draws a broad crowd, and the energy around the start area tends to reflect it. Cash prizes are on the table for competitive runners.
