The course runs through downtown West Chester, closing off the streets for a route that mixes a longer run option with a shorter walk option. The surroundings are urban and familiar if you know the borough, with storefronts and streetscapes rather than trails or parks. The race supports breast and ovarian cancer services, and that purpose is woven into the atmosphere.

Bib pickup happens at the Unite for HER office in Malvern the two evenings before the race. If you skip that, there is also morning-of pickup in a parking lot near the start in downtown West Chester.
