About the Unified Group Services Run/Walk for Cancer
The course runs entirely on the horse racing track at Harrah's Hoosier Park, and that setting is the whole character of it. Runners cover the full loop and a bit more to hit the standard road race distance, finishing at the start/finish line on the track surface. Walkers do a shorter loop, also starting from that same line. The Jumbotron overhead picks up everyone as they go.
The race benefits the cancer center at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson, and participants can enter solo or as part of a team. Friends and family are encouraged to come out and watch from the track.
