About the Ugly Sweater Run or Walk 5k

The course runs through the streets of Sisters in a chip-timed out-and-back, and the whole point of the morning is the costume. Runners, walkers, and dogs are all encouraged to show up in an ugly Christmas sweater, and there is a parade and contest at the finish with prizes for best individual, best couple, best family, and best dog.

The start and finish are both at The Barn on Main Avenue, which is where the post-race party happens too. Hot chocolate and coffee from a local roaster are at the start line. A complimentary drink is included with registration, and treats from a local bakery round out the finish area. A kids dash goes off just before the main event.
