About the Tuscaloosa Mayor's Cup 5K for Pre-K

This race raises money for preschool education in Tuscaloosa, and that purpose shapes the morning. It draws people who care about the cause alongside runners chasing competitive points, so the field tends to mix neighbors out for a good reason with regulars working through a local race series.

The race is part of a season-long points series connecting several Tuscaloosa races, with runners earning standings toward a citywide leaderboard. Fleet Feet Tuscaloosa is the presenting partner of that series, so expect a presence from the local running store community at the start or finish.
