About the Turner's Trot Annual 5K Walk/Run
Turner's Trot is a memorial walk/run held in a park on the east side of Ann Arbor, raising money for a dental school scholarship in memory of Ryan Turner. The crowd tends to be dental students, faculty, alumni, and neighbors who come out to mark the occasion together.
Post-race refreshments are part of the morning, so there is reason to stick around after you cross the finish. The event draws people from the dental school community as much as from the broader running scene, which gives it a different texture than most local road races.
