About the Turkey Trot Predict
This is a prediction run, meaning the goal is not to finish fast but to finish exactly when you said you would. Runners start in a staggered wave based on their predicted time, slowest first, and the clock gets covered once the last runner is off. If you cross the line in a crowd, you nailed it; if you cross alone, you misjudged.
Watches, GPS devices, and anything that tracks time are not allowed on the course, which is the whole point. Headphones are also off the table. If you bring a sweet treat, you are entered into a raffle at the finish. It is a Thanksgiving-week race with a very different kind of competition than usual.
