About the Turkey Trot 10K or 2 mile Prediction Run with a Kids Run
This one runs as a prediction race, which changes the whole morning. You submit your expected finish time when you register, then run without a watch. No timing devices, no mile markers, no splits called out on course. The course runs through Greenfield Park, starting near the warming house by the lagoon. Whoever finishes closest to their predicted time wins a turkey.
Bib pickup and race-morning registration both happen at the park before the start. Afterward, there is hot cider, hot chocolate, coffee, and snacks. You have to be there in person to collect a turkey if you win, and the limit is one per family.
