About the Trout Valley Turkey Trot
The course winds through Trout Valley itself, passing through the historic neighborhood on what the organizers describe as a scenic route. It is a Turkey Trot morning race with a kids fun run beforehand, the kind of outing that draws families alongside serious runners, all of them headed back to a table later that day.
Registration and packet pickup happen inside the Trout Valley Lodge on race morning, with an option to pick up the evening before at a restaurant in Cary. After the race, Phase Three Brewing brings post-race drinks for those of age. Runners are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to support the local food pantry.

The Trout Valley Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
