About the Trot Now, Feast Later-The Tribute 5k
This is a Thanksgiving-season 5K run through The Colony, benefiting CASA of Denton County, a nonprofit that advocates for children in the local court system who need a voice. A portion of every entry goes directly to that cause. The course has a fun run option for those who want a shorter effort, and the overall feel is a neighborhood holiday gathering more than a competitive event.
Packet pickup runs on several days before race morning, including at the Golf Clubs at The Tribute on Lebanon Road and at the Tribute HOA Office in Little Elm, with race-morning pickup also available. Parking is spread across a few designated spots around the community, including the pickleball courts, Old American, and Chelsea Green Dog Park. The Lakeside Pool area and Castlebridge are off-limits for parking.
