About the Trot For HOPE
This is a Thanksgiving morning fun run at Riverfront Park in Palatka, raising money for a local radio station. The route follows the riverfront and is short enough that costumes are genuinely practical. Plenty of people show up dressed as turkeys or in coordinated family getups, and judges hand out gift cards for standout looks. A trolley follows the course for anyone who needs it.
Packet pickup runs the day before at the radio station, with race-morning pickup available at the park. There is also a kids fun run that goes off first, making this a workable Thanksgiving outing for families with young children. Post-race refreshments are on hand after the main run wraps up.
