About the Beck 5k- Santa's Jingle Beer Run

The course starts at Riverfront Park and heads down toward the St. Johns River before turning through residential neighborhoods and looping back. The river view comes at you twice, near the start and again as you come back in. It runs during Porchfest, so live bands line parts of the route and the neighborhood crowd is out on porches.

Packet pickup runs the day before at a local shop on Reid Street, with race-morning pickup available at the start line. After finishing, there is craft beer for those of age and a non-alcoholic option for everyone else. The race benefits a local food pantry, and the post-finish area has a gathering feel rather than a quick dispersal.
