About the Trinity Trot 5K and Fun Run
The course runs on a cross country trail at Trinity Academy, so expect natural terrain rather than pavement. Runners are encouraged to show up in their favorite team jersey, which gives the morning a casual, spirited feel. The trail sets this one apart from a typical road race in Wichita.
Post-race, there is a pancake breakfast, and a KidZone area keeps things going for families after the run. A raffle is part of the morning as well. Proceeds go to Trinity Academy, so the race has a clear local purpose behind it.
