About the Lexi’s 5K
This is a Halloween-themed fundraiser held at Sedgwick County Park, with costumes encouraged across the field. The shorter distance is untimed, making it a relaxed outing for families, while the main event draws runners of all paces. The race benefits a foundation that supports children in local hospitals, so the atmosphere carries real meaning for many of the people there.
Packet pickup runs across the few days before the race, including at a downtown office location and at the park itself. Race morning pickup opens before the start at the park's Sunflower Building. After the awards ceremony, there is a cookout on site, and trick-or-treating follows.
