About the Trick or Trot & Monster Dash
The afternoon centers on honoring babies lost too soon, with the run itself serving that purpose rather than a finish-line clock. Costumes are welcome throughout, kids have their own short dash, a memorial mile walk comes before the longer run, and the pacing of the whole event is quiet and intentional.
Packet pickup opens well before the first steps are taken, so there is no need to scramble. Vendors are on site through most of the afternoon, and time after the awards is set aside for fellowship and photos before the venue closes out for the evening.
