About the Trick or Trot - 9th Annual Airmen Helping Airmen 5k Run/Walk
This race runs on an active military installation, so the course has that spare, functional character of base roads and grounds. It is a Halloween-themed event, with a costume contest decided by crowd applause and treat stops along the route where runners can pick up goodies. An ice cream vendor is on site as well.
Access is restricted to installation members and vetted guests. Anyone bringing family or friends without base credentials needs to arrange visitor passes in advance, and everyone arriving at the main gate must carry a Real ID-compliant form of identification. Plan that process out well before race morning.
