About the Trick or Trot 5K

The course runs through the Lakeview District, winding through downtown streets, so there is real scenery and a bit of urban texture underfoot rather than a trail or a track loop. Costumes are encouraged, and the crowd reflects that: expect dogs in disguise, strollers, and a costume contest that carries on after the run.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at Back Forty Brewing, which also serves as the start area. Race-morning registration opens early, so showing up without a bib is an option if the night before does not work.
