About the Trestle Tap 9K
The course runs point-to-point on road and trail between two towns, crossing the High Trestle Trail Bridge along the way. The bridge is the centerpiece, a long elevated span that gives you open sky and a view that is hard to find on most road courses. The route reverses direction each year, so the experience shifts depending on which end you start from.
Both the start and the finish are anchored at local bars, one in Madrid and one in Woodward. After you finish, cold beer from a pair of local breweries is waiting. Shuttles run back to the start, though there can be a gap between runs, so plan to hang around a bit.
