A kids' dash loops around a treehouse village, and the main race follows the arboretum grounds. The terrain is paved, so the footing is straightforward, and the setting feels more like a park morning than a road race.
Race-morning pickup handles packets before the start. Afterward, there is cheese at the finish, breakfast burritos from a catering truck, and a coffee truck nearby. The arboretum stays open after the race, so there is room to walk around if you want to stretch the morning out.
