About the Townsend 15K and 7K

The courses run on back-country roads alongside the Little River, with both distances looping back to Peaceful Side Social as the finish. The longer route includes an out-and-back stretch that the shorter one skips, making for a slightly different feel depending on which you enter. The roads are rural and the surroundings are quiet, but there is real elevation here, so expect to work.

Packet pickup opens early on race morning at Peaceful Side Social, the same building that serves as race headquarters. After finishing, there is post-race food on hand, and the Abbey next door sells drinks and breakfast items if you want something more.
