About the Little River Run 5K

The course runs along the Little River through a quiet neighborhood, then briefly joins the Townsend Historical Greenway before looping back to the start at The Abbey on River Road. The road stays open to traffic, but it sees very little of it. The terrain is mostly flat, with a surface mix that shifts as the route moves between the neighborhood and the greenway.

Packet pickup happens the evening before the race at The Abbey, with race-morning pickup available at the check-in tent out front for those who miss it. Parking is in a grass lot nearby, with overflow spots close to the Townsend Post Office a short walk away. Attendants are on hand to direct cars.
