About the Toms River Police Foundation Jingle Bells 5K Run
The course runs through downtown Toms River and into the surrounding neighborhoods. It is mostly flat, with a handful of gentle hills along the way. Holiday costumes are a genuine part of the scene, so expect plenty of festive outfits in the crowd and among the runners.
The race raises money for scholarships for local high school students and supports a rotating spotlight organization each year. An afternoon start time makes the morning a little more forgiving if you want to dress up before you head out.
