About the Together As 1 x Barnabas Vision Thankful Steps 5K Turkey Trot
This is a Turkey Trot that doubles as a fundraiser, with proceeds split between two local nonprofits focused on serving families in Murfreesboro. The morning has a grateful, celebratory spirit to it, and runners are invited to share what they are thankful for as part of the event itself.
The organizers describe it as a lighthearted morning, which suggests the pace of the crowd will be relaxed and the atmosphere welcoming to strollers and families. A few unannounced surprises are planned along the way.
