About the Hops Half Marathon
The Hops Half runs through Murfreesboro and benefits the local Child Advocacy Center, so the race has a purpose behind it beyond the finish line. The course passes each aid station twice, meaning you get a sense of where support is before you need it on the return leg. There is a cutoff, and it is firm, timed to wrap before a festival begins.
The race finishes directly into that festival, a large outdoor event with bands and a spread of food and craft vendors. The first drink is on the house.
