About the Tinsel Toes 5K
The course runs through Battle Creek's Festival of Lights, so the whole route is lit up around you. It is an evening race through downtown, which gives it a different feel from most local runs. The surrounding light display is the scenery, and families line the route to watch.
Packet pickup and day-of registration both happen at a facility called Full Blast before the start. The awards follow not long after the last finishers come in, so there is a reason to hang around.
