About the Beavers Against Breast Cancer 5k Fun Run/Walk
This is a high school student council fundraiser, with proceeds going to a local hospital cancer center. The race has a genuine cause behind it rather than a timing goal, and the crowd reflects that. Expect participants who are there for the mission as much as the miles, and an atmosphere that follows from that.
