The course runs through Riverside Park, right along the water in Vero Beach. The park setting keeps things shaded in spots, and the terrain is flat enough that most people are focused on pace rather than footing. The race benefits Thrive IRC, a local organization working on substance misuse prevention and recovery, so there is some weight behind the morning beyond just the finish line.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at the Thrive IRC office, and again at the park on race morning before the start. Post-race, there is food and beverages at the finish.
