The course runs through a university campus during a family weekend event, starting in front of the recreation center. It is a road race with a campus setting, which tends to mean wide paths, some gentle rises, and plenty of foot traffic from families watching along the way. Age division prizes go to the top finishers in each category, so there is real competition if you want it.
