About the Wurst Race

The course heads out along Maryland Street to a greenway path, then turns around and comes back the same way, finishing at Germania Maennerchor, a German cultural hall that serves as the race hub. The route is straightforward and the surroundings shift from street to trail partway through.

After you finish, there are brats and beer at the Germania grounds. Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local fitness shop, with race-morning check-in available at the start. Timing is handled by a dedicated timing company, and the race goes on in rain.
