About the Twilight Run 5K and 1-mile Elementary Challenge
This is an evening race through Havertown, held at dusk, which gives it a different feel from a typical weekend morning 5K. The school district education foundation runs it as a fundraiser, and the atmosphere reflects that. Families gather, there is music, and kids' activities run alongside the race itself.
Packet pickup and race-day registration both happen at the school on the afternoon of the event, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. Bathrooms are available on site. Post-race, there are snacks out for participants and the crowd that has collected to watch.
